LCOS controls relays through DNOU8 digital output ports. When installing relays on your layout, keep track of the DNOU8 ports you use; you’ll need that information to configure the relays in LCOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Relay Tool<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the Main Window<\/a>, click \"relay to invoke the Relay Tool<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Relay Tool is divided into three zones: add, edit and list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ADD a new relay, select a New Relay Type<\/a>, then select the port(s) the relay is attached to. With the compound relays, port 1 should lead to the power control relay, and port 2 should lead to the input or output selector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After setting one or two ports (depending on relay type), click \"add to add the new relay to the list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new relay has been added to the list. Be sure to Save Relay Map<\/strong> to save the data in EEPROM.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Remember to save the configuration to the Node by clicking \"save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the change, the node must rebooted. On the Main Window<\/a><\/strong>, click \"reboot to reboot and load the new configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Test the Relay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the edit zone of the Relay Tool, select the relay object from the drop-list. Click \"test to briefly cycle the relay and see it operate. Relay tests are direct and do not involve the layout loop.
