LCOS DCC Client Node is a special version of the LCOS client hardware designed to connect to your DCC rail bus to listen for turnout commands. LCOS lets you map some or all of your turnouts, local routes and global routes to DCC address(es) allowing you to control turnouts and invoke routes using your DCC throttle.
The DNDCC hardware exchanges the block detection components on a Standard Client for an optocoupled rail interface, plus additional firmware logic for managing the interface. Configuration is CV free, using point and click interface of the Configurator.
Client Nodes are the layout workhorses of the LCOS System. Every layout will use one or more Client Nodes placed strategically around the layout to provide local services and functions. Each client can handle block occupancy detection for up to 8 blocks, manage up to 8 turnout motors, up to 16 signal heads and much more.
The LCOS DNDCC Client Node is an assembly consisting of the LCOS Client Processor and an nRF24L01+ radio, mounted on the LCOS DCC Interface Board. Add the DNOU8 Digital Output duinoNodes to enable layout lighting or the node’s ABS signaling system.
