Two-Color

The Women's Daily Irony Supplement by Judy Gruen, trade paperback; 8.5" x 5.5"; outside proprietary photo (fee paid to outside agency). Winner: Gold ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year, Silver IPPY Book of the Year, Bronze PMA Ben Franklin Award, Finalist Indie Excellence Award.

Hemingway in Perú (not released) by Mario Saavedra-PinÓn Castillo; 9" x 6" paperback. Author-supplied photograph. Note that photo was poorly composed, scratched and out of focus before digital restoration began.

Women in Shadow and Light by author/photographer Jan Goff-LaFontaine; hardcover; 11" x 6"; dust jacket over printed cover (library binding); Duotone (Black and White + one color) printing with gold foil lettering. Author supplied photograph scanned in. Note: this book won the 2006 Book of the Year IPPY (Women's Issues) and the organizers used this cover extensively in promos.
